Introduction

The various specialisations within Civil engineering involve lengthy and complicated calculations that are prone to human error. The aim of this class is to help the student simplify the routine calculation by using simple spreadsheet applications and focus more on the design aspect.

The software package being used is 'Microsoft Excel 2003' the operating system being 'Microsoft XP'.
